How do you know we purchase something?

Our affiliates will leave a cookie on your computer that will track who your contribution goes to and, if you are logged in, which account to credit to.

Do I have to click on the link on this site everytime before I shop?

It's best you do. Although the cookie left on your computer should stay for a few days (some 30, some ten days), often times closing the browser window or restarting your computer may delete the cookie. It's safer to just click right before you make your purchase.

Do you profit off of this?

No, and that's not my intention (and I can't anyways because this site is a nonprofit organization). This is a high school project that I now maintain in my spare time. In fact this site actually costs money to maintain, so donations are appreciated.

How can I trust you actually donate the money?

We detail the contributions made to each organizations as well as the contributions a merchant has made on their profile page. Additionally, if you make an account, you will be able to track every purchase you've made and see exactly how much you donated as well as see exactly when the actual check was sent out. With this information you are free to verify with the organization yourself.
